Six years ago the Crest government was reformed under a new ruler and all history written down or recorded about time before Crest was in power was wiped out. It only took two years before the kingdom was cut off from the outside. now, there are only two ways into or out of the kingdom. The port town Espovea and the forest Dreadwood. All people coming into the kingdom through legal channels are held in Crest detainment for three days before being either turned away or let into the kingdom. All have the same story to tell of a Shi'val massacre. Barren lands, savages, and Shi'val murdering the small camps and colonies that have survived and begun to rebuild.
It is now the seventh year of Crest rule, or CR7 for short. The sea's are a dangerous place, plagued by pirates, ship battles, and the great unknown. Shi'val are either in hiding or under Crest control. Races such as the rare Golem, Kithra, and Dwarf have been rumored to have been sighted across the kingdom. many of these said to be in the Dreadwood forest. A place not even Crest officials will go.
Lets not forget the tribe settlement in Mantu. A place rumored to house many Shi'val and other wanted people who have fled there from all over the kingdom. Crest have heard the rumours and know about the settlement but why they have simply written it off as useless and refuse to investigate is anyone's guess.
